Whether you’re designing a new garden or want to revamp an old one, gardening projects require a lot of planning.
If you want your garden to be a horticultural haven, use calm and subtle colors in all aspects of your garden. Pastel shades work best, particularly when planted in ‘drifts’ of colour.
Don’t be afraid to have a go at making your own garden ornaments. Something as simple as a sundial or a birdbath can add the personal touch to your garden. Try your local salvage yard for interesting materials.

These pictures were very fascinating to look at. I personally lean toward a more natural and country-style approach, but I can see where, in the right setting, these modern gardens would really stand out. My favorite is the one with the white, circular fire pit. Perhaps because sitting and enjoying a fire is such a peaceful way to bring closure to a busy day.

This is probably one of the best posts I have located on this topic. Have you considered the opposite side of the argument of gardening? To be candid, I think a good argument could be made either way, but please let me know if you have found more sites or articles on the Web to verify what you are discussing.
