I came home from work exhausted and decided to chill in my parent’s room before they went to sleep. We were watching the evening news and all of a sudden my mother recognized the woman on the tv screen. It was my grandfather’s mistress. The messed up thing is that everyone in the room talked about her like she was somebody the family actually liked. Well hell, I take that back because the conversation took a weird turn.
Momma – “She still alive?! I thought she was dead or something.”
Dad – “By the looks of it, she’s about to be.”
(insert laughter.. we have fucked up senses of humor, I know)

She could barely breathe and was on an oxygen tank, had absolutely no hair.. it was all shaved off and I think she couldn’t walk. That would put her around 70 years old+.
Apparently everybody knew what my grandpa was doing. I wonder what he saw in my grandma….
