NOT JUST ANOTHER PRINCE GIRL!

Perhaps she was discovered and molded by Prince, but this lady is on her own now and the world is ready for her. “It’s true Prince likes to control women, but he does it in a very laid-back way,” Jill observes.

“Prince is a mystery and he wants to keep it that way. The press is constantly poking at him and he doesn’t react. When he reacts it’s always through his music. He’s very mental.

People are sometimes inhibited by him, but he has a real big heart. He’s giving and he’s generous.”

If it sounds as though Prince and Jill Jones are in harmony, they are and so are their musical endeavors together. Just like Prince, Jill is a multiple talent. Writer, singer and now producer.

How did someone so young get so far so fast? “I just sort of fall into things,” Jill admits. This might be the understatement of the year. Jill has indeed “fallen” into the modern musical spotlight, but once there she has captivated and intrigued with a natural talent and an instinctive musical ability that is nothing short of dazzling. Center stage is, in short, Jill Jones’ natural habitat.

As a person, Jill runs her fast-paced life with lots of meditation and lots of concentration. She sleeps only four hours a night, but amazingly sports a lush complexion, clear eyes and a dynamic attitude charged with energy. “I’m very moody,” she admits. “I never know what I’m going to put on in the morning. So I just put on what feels right. When I see something I want, I buy it. I never know whether I’ll wear it or not, but eventually I get up in the morning and put on what I bought.

I’m glad I grew up in the Middle West. The people there are very basic in their beliefs, but they go about life in a very moderate way.”

Jill’s tips to young girls who want to follow in her footsteps are: “Be an individual. Trust your first thoughts. Don’t try to be influenced by your friends. Voice your own opinion. You must know who you are at all times.

Obviously , these qualities attracted Prince. And why not?
